Ginny's New Hat

Once Ginny was born, Chris and I happily became 2nd class citizens in our family.  After all, Ginny is the cutest and sweetest of the bunch.  She not only gets all of the attention now, and rightly so, but also all of the good mail.  She gets more letters, cards, and packages than us.  Ginny loves her mail too (apparently boxes are quite tasty).

Today, Ginny received a package from her Great-Aunt Gail and her Great-Uncle Dan. With great anticipation, Ginny opened it (with Daddy's help, of course).  Inside the package was a little note: "Keep your head warm, Ginny. Cold weather is coming our way. Love, Aunt Gail & Uncle Dan."  Inside some pretty wrapped red tissue paper was a lovely white knitted hat from The Women's Exchange in St. Louis with a cherry on it and ribbon.

Ginny in her new hat!

Ginny loves her new hat! Okay, honestly, she loved the tissue paper the most. However, Daddy and I loved the hat and took a picture of Ginny in it right away.  It is quite lovely!
