I can only wonder what the owners of the chain were thinking or if they were thinking at all.

Sometimes People Need to Really Consider Spelling
The last couple of days, I went to Iowa with my husband and daughter to visit my in-laws. One of the first things I ever notice, upon arrival, to Iowa is a convenience store that bothers me. It isn't the store or the gas they sell that bothers me. Rather, it is the name.
The bright owners of this store thought that "Kum & Go" was a clever name. I get that "Kum" is supposed to mean "Come". However, it is too closely spelled to reflect a word of a sexual nature. Every time I see the store, I'm struck by how inappropriate the name is. If they wanted a "K" in the word come, couldn't they have used "Kome". I mean, really. What I find most disturbing is that the people of Iowa act as though this name is the most normal in the world.
I can only wonder what the owners of the chain were thinking or if they were thinking at all.
